The stand has potential. It's in good basic shape and could be a 5 star product with a few minor tweaks. First, the tripod screws that adjust the height and angle of the base are difficult to tighten and even after a lot of effort are still not tight enough to hold the tripod at the correct viewing angle. Second, the edges of the platen that the laptop rests on should be about 1/2 inch higher to prevent some laptops (Dell's brands with rounded cases) from slipping off easily. Other than that, I really like this product. I bought this for my mom and when it's set right she loves it. These small fixes make it a 5 star game for my tastes.
