Anyone who has worn cashmere or cotton before can clearly see/feel that this scarf is 100% synthetic, not synthetic cashmere or cotton. This is a very soft and beautiful scarf but not as described. This is an inexpensive soft fleece fabric used in dozens of inexpensive scarves sold here at Revain. It is very soft, maybe of medium thickness. This month I ordered 2 more similar scarves from other sellers, one was thicker and the other thinner than this one. This matches the price but note this is not cashmere/cotton. I ordered a burgundy to match the color, not a super dark red just the hair is darker than the cardinal red. It doesn't have a strong odor like some, but can be aired out or rinsed in cold soapy water and hung to dry to remove the chemical coating that has been applied to all garments.
