I have to agree with other reviewers that the station programming and alarm setting is very confusing. I bought it to fit on a narrow bathroom shelf. If you are looking for a compact clock radio, this is it. The radio is fine for news and talk stations, but don't expect rich-sounding music. The audio input jack is not very convenient. You must adjust the volume on the device, not the radio. The sound is not very good and I rarely use this feature. On the plus side, the clock is bright, easy to read from across the room, and shows the time accurately. Switching between preset stations (once you figure out how to do it) is convenient. For $13.50 I wasn't expecting much, but it's suitable for special needs. Anyone with more shelf space might want a more reliable clock radio that can be had for around the same price. This is my second device so I knew exactly what I was buying.
