We have used many of these cables and replaced all of our patch panels with them. I like plugs with built in boot and how the whole plug glows from the light on the switches or network adapter. However, we just spent half a day troubleshooting a network performance issue for one of our home workers, only to find that the 50-foot cable was out of spec. We only got about 3MB/s over the cable and kept suspecting a defective switch, the IPS. Software or VPN. A home user bought this type of cable on our recommendation but didn't tell us they bought a 50 foot cable. During troubleshooting we asked them to try a different cable and they told us they didn't have any other 50 foot cables and that's why they bought it. So we tried other troubleshooting methods and the next day we finally got another cable and the BOOM was up and running straight away and running at full expected speed. So. BUYER WARNING, not all of these cables meet the specifications. We do not perform a performance test on every one of these cables that we receive before putting them into service. We've already found a few slightly off spec, up to 20 feet. This may be a manufacturing quality control issue, or simply an inability to achieve CAT6 performance specification on 34 AWG wire over 20 feet.
