Judging strictly on this product's merits as a razor, I would rate this product lower. However, if you add "green" features, I increase them a bit. First, the razors themselves shave normally. They shave as well as most inexpensive disposable razors when the head is not spinning. I shaved in the shower, the hold is very good. The shave wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I had to go through multiple passes to get a close shave - something I can't do with other consumables I have. Also, don't forget that most other disposable razors are made of plastic and can be recycled. Isn't that the same as "green"? However, I will admit that they have a unique look and I love the fact that when I throw them away they break down much faster than plastic if not recycled. With them I also managed to shave normally, it just took more passes. Finally, the price is okay at just over a dollar a piece - good considering many companies are overcharging by producing an eco-friendly product. So overall I'm happy with it.
