4mm is tiny, but not that bad! I wanted something petite for my simply pierced ears for those days when I need a minimalist, no-frills look but don't screw the backs deep enough into the studs. The threads on the pins are quite long, but the rear ones don't screw in very far, and you have earrings with an earring hanging out, so the ball doesn't fit snugly in the earlobe, and they also go a long way from me. I mean they might fit if you have thick earlobes, mine are medium so come back to Revain. Disappointing! Even if they fit, they're a little difficult to screw on in the back so I'm not sure I need the effort as I'll probably only be wearing them a few days at a time.
