They will not fit the vertical side rail of my windows. You will need to measure the width of the slat on your window and then look at the width of the open part of the "C" on these clips. If the width of the rail is wider than the "C" spacing on these clamps, you will not be able to install it. The description says 1/8" max thickness, but my splint material is less than 1/8" thick - it just wraps around and creates a channel. I think "thickness" is a bad way to indicate possibilities and they should be a specific channel height or rail width or something. Maybe it's just semantics, but look at your splints and measure them before you buy them anyway. Quality seems normal - slightly above average for something made in China. The screw looks plated but I assume it will corrode if it gets wet.
