When I recently ordered this product, there were no reviews for this product, so I knew I was taking a chance. So far this pillow looks like a steal at this price (it was $28 with change at the time of purchase). Laying your head on this pillow is the same as laying your head on one of my gel fiber pillows (it's kind of an alternative down pillow). That's great. Even better than gel fiber pillows because they have no creases. The side parts are ideal for neck support when lying down, especially in a side or semi-prone position. The head does not tilt up at an awkward angle. So if you want a body pillow that wraps halfway around the neck under the head and all the way down between the knees or under one knee you need a pillow like this or maybe a longer one for those who like extra long body pillows. Also, if you want a pillow just under your belly to support your lower back when sleeping on your stomach, this is the way to go. Memory foam pillows won't help you in this regard; the material is too hard for this particular job. But who knows, you could open it up and add a bunch of shredded memory foam if you like. However, this also depends on which mattress you use. This pillow can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dried on a low setting. For me that's a plus. This is a lighter body pillow. So if you put the pillow in the washing machine separately and place it there correctly, it shouldn't cause certain types of washing machines to become unbalanced during the spin cycle. If this pillow starts to fail in a few months I will update this review.
