I didn't expect it to be a "typical deodorant stick". I will return to my usual favorite L'OCCITANE ball. However, this is a quality pen for those not expecting the antimicrobial benefits of some Degree(TM) products. The smell is pleasant, there are practically no antiperspirant properties. As well as many other sticks. No regrets trying, and I don't think you'd mind "trying it out".
