So I really like the look and construction of this headset and it has a nice long cord for those of us that are further away from our PCs. . That's good news. The bad news is I had 2 of these headsets and both went down the toilet with innards. The first one that always sounded through the mic input for me for some reason and it got progressively worse for 2 months until suddenly the right earbud died. So I got it under warranty and Thrustmaster replaced it. Okay, that's all well and good, but unfortunately that's not the end of my sorrow story. Replacing the kit also boomed through the mic input, with the right side of the headphone constantly cutting out. I've found that a quick workaround is to keep disconnecting and reconnecting the audio jack from the I/O splitter until it works. That was until today when the mic went dead and wouldn't come back no matter how many times I unplugged and plugged it back in, oh and the right earbud is now dead for good too. That whole headset has been nothing but a pain in my life for the past year ! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this headset. It came as a real shock to me because I love Thrustmaster in general, I have their HOTAS warthog, it's fantastic, but for some reason this headset is just awful and not of the quality I expect from much worse brands.
