I've been using drawstring tea bags for a long time and got tired of pulling out the drawstrings to put in a worm basket after use, so I gave it a try this stringless version and was quite disappointed. The pouches are securely sealed on the sides and I haven't had a single leak. I put in a teaspoon of loose tea and fold the top over and then turn it around a bit so it doesn't seal before placing it in my cup and allowing the top itself to drape over the rim. The problems start with this protrusion dripping when it gets wet (since water is sucked into it). A lot of. And water goes everywhere. The other problem is that the tea doesn't really have enough room to expand well, so it doesn't bring out all the flavor. It's all stuck at the bottom of the bag and can't expand. I thought I had a bad cup of tea until I finally figured out what the problem was. I will definitely be going back to my drawstring filter bags. All in all they don't make great tea and I don't recommend them.
