All are attached with brown macrame style cord. The length is 38 inches, which is a good weight. I'm very impressed with the quality and the pictures don't show any detail so I've included one so you can see how beautiful the beads are. There's gold, brass and silver metal, all of which are in the shape of a square circle that I can't describe. It really brightens up a plain t-shirt or sweater.
