Pretty for a casual look but not pretty enough for a "dressy" look according to my wife. It's not overpriced, but it's not a "high quality" necklace either. The clasp part needed some attention to make sure it doesn't fall apart while she's wearing it, so give it a good look before you wear it. I hope that was helpful.

I had high expectations of this chain. Although 100% true? They remind me of carnival beads. When I opened them in person, there was an immediate response. Very happy with these pearls which I ordered to wear this fall. I love wearing pearls on blouses to add some flair to an outfit. They are medium weight and look expensive. The colors are beautiful gold and silver and the beads are square which gives a modern look. Reminds me of something you would buy in a boutique. Great to own or give as a gift. This is an amazingly heavy necklace made with three separate strands of gold and silver metal square beads. It's shiny, but I'm disappointed in its length - if you're a tall woman who likes wearing long chains under your bust, then this is for you. For someone who is a bit petite, this necklace seemed too big and unwieldy. However, this would be a good gift for an older woman who loves long necklaces. I'm afraid I'm not the type to wear it.
