The lifting mechanism does not work

, I am 1.60 m tall and weigh about 65 kg. I've had the chair for a little over two weeks and the lift mechanism doesn't work at all. I tested it when I first assembled it and it seemed to work fine, but since then the chair just won't stay up when I pull the lever. I'm trying to attach a video. The chair was comfortable and seemed sturdy, but hey, for $160 it should do what it says on the tin.
