Never changed the dashboard backlight. I watched a youtube video on how to do this and it was pretty easy. What you need to know for the Jeep Grand Cherokees is that you need TWO packages. 10 lightbulbs are not enough! As you can see from the picture I didn't have enough bulbs so everything looks fine where the new blue LEDs are but where the old ones are they are very dim and look awful. I have ordered another package. I had to remove the dashboard to turn on a couple of broken lightbulbs. But this is very easy to fix, so make sure you don't tighten anything until you're sure all the lights are working. I definitely like the blue lights and am looking forward to my second set.
