Bought 2 of these for me and my daughter to take an 8 day summer trip. Since we were flying United in budget economy class, I had to make sure there was enough clothing to fit inside and under the seat of the chair in front of us as I didn't want to carry or check in more luggage. Very very satisfied. We have many things in our bags. There are bags for the day. As you can see from the photos, they easily fit under our seats. Of course we were going to my brothers house so I had access to a washer/dryer so we didn't have to pack as much BUT I know we could add a lot more and it would be fine. For the curious I was able to fit: 4 light dresses, 2 shorts, 5 t-shirts, 8 pairs of panties, 3 bralettes, 1 pair of classic sandals, 4 pairs of socks, 2 swimsuits, 2 skirts, toiletries in a liter bag, Kindle, several charging cables / gadgets, not to mention all the little things you end up stuffing in all your pockets. I didn't bring my laptop so I was able to use that space as well. It was also very comfortable to wear and seemed extremely durable. Very very happy with this backpack.
