Yes, every time I pick up a tripod and move to a different location, I have to snap the rubber bands around the legs. And that gum would have fallen right off if I hadn't tied one end to my leg. Add that you can't buy cleated legs for this model which I would really prefer in nature and so my 3 star rating seems generous indeed. If I worked in the studio it would probably be a good deal, but in the field it was the wrong choice. Live, pay and learn.
