Review on 🔧 Standard Motor Products EGV1149: OEM Replacement Valve Sensor for Emissions & Sensors by Juan Axum

I've been lucky with Standard Motor Products. I had failed EGR valves but not from this company. This fixed the problem and CEL didn't come back. Be sure to fully clean the carbon tube before assembly. If necessary, use brake cleaner, rags and a small flat head. I roll up a corner of a blue rag, insert it into the pipe and twist to clean the charcoal pipe. A small snake would be even better. Lay a rag over the dirty end and blow an air compressor over the clean end if you have one. (Don't skip the rag step, it can blow everything around.) Dirty carbon tubing can ruin your new part or even cause CEL.
