Save money and buy branded goods.

I wouldn't recommend this. Stopped working after a month. I had to buy another one (except this time I bought the branded one and had no problems with it). This EGR valve fixed the problem for a week and then the same problem came back. Save money and don't buy this.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Your results may vary.

Your results may vary. It worked fine for four months, then the jeep started to stall and jump. Took it to a car dealership. After replacing the throttle body and O2 sensor it worked fine for a few miles then stalled and disappeared. They disabled the EGR and it worked fine so they replaced it with a new EGR and it has been working fine ever since. Maybe that was the bad part as others were luckier.

Pros
  • This is Amazing
Cons
  • Great Price

Great spare part!

This EGR sensor works great as a replacement for the broken factory sensor I had on my Wrangler 07. Installation was a real pain as the screws are in a tight space, but a quick look on YouTube made the installation go smoothly. As soon as I screwed it in and plugged it in, the engine light went out and the code disappeared. I've had it for a good 3000km now and haven't had any problems so I'm happy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, high quality EGR sensor.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Good part, good company. Fixed my problem, no more CEL.

I've been lucky with Standard Motor Products. I had failed EGR valves but not from this company. This fixed the problem and CEL didn't come back. Be sure to fully clean the carbon tube before assembly. If necessary, use brake cleaner, rags and a small flat head. I roll up a corner of a blue rag, insert it into the pipe and twist to clean the charcoal pipe. A small snake would be even better. Lay a rag over the dirty end and blow an air compressor over the clean end if you have one. (Don't skip…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost never

Fixed EGR codes, working as it should

Nothing to say, cleared EGR location codes on a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country 3.8L. Cleaning the old (original OEM, 110,000 miles) EGR didn't work, this one fit perfectly, was replaced in less than 30 minutes (it pays to have the right tools. The right bushings and extensions are required to to avoid unscrewing other components and working with rusty screws, etc.). After cleaning the engine mating surfaces and anti-seize bolts (EGR valves fail a lot on this engine. It's just a fact of life)…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Almost OK
