Review on 🧹 Lidar Navigation Blue Robot Vacuum Cleaner & Self Emptying Station | Coredy L900X: Smart Mapping, 2700Pa Suction, Carpet Boost, Alexa, No-Go Zones | Ideal for Pet Hairs & Mop by Tina Coleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wanted to please as a first robot vacuum cleaner purchase.

Update: The company contacted me about my return. The person I spoke to was friendly and offered to sell me the bags at a reasonable discount for the warranty period. It was suggested to change my rating to 5 stars with this suggestion. I gave up on both due to other factors I mentioned in my review. I appreciate the concern for the product and believe that the company will continue to improve it by listening to customers' concerns and suggestions. A less expensive and easily accessible way to get rid of the collected dust and a larger water tank and I think that would be relatively ideal. Still not right for me. Original :: I dropped the robot vacuum because I don't mind sweeping, but one day the sun illuminated the fact that my broom wasn't picking up all the pet hair. as I thought. It's time to ask for help. I looked at a lot of robot vacuums and chose this one because it was a daily deal and it was advertised that it could do what I wanted. The things I wanted in one was that it vacuums, mops and automatically disposes of trash. Another thing I was looking for was that it would be helpful to help with the abundance of pet hair in my house. Unfortunately I am disappointed with this product. It vacuums and moves around my house well, but leaves clumps of pet hair on the bare floor because it's clogged. He also had issues with an occasional pellet falling off after loading our pellet stove. He didn't let us know he was in trouble, just kept sucking. I figured that happened with the best vacuums, so my son was good enough to clear the blockage and went his own way again. He returned to his base to dump the trash, which is a bit noisy. I don't think the robot is very noisy, even at height. It could be at night. The most important thing for me is that I am concerned that the base will fill up quickly with our large family of pets. I was looking for replacement bags. I couldn't find anything on the Coredy store page so I called. I was told this is a new product and if I provide my email address they can help me get replacement bags. The support person couldn't tell me how much they cost and didn't understand what I was asking at first. I found it odd that a company couldn't just offer a way to buy without waiting for emails. My son found these at Revain but they are $9.99 a pack! If one bag lasts a month, that's an extra $120 a year, but for our family, I think it would be double or triple that. This was something I didn't easily find in my research on this product. Things just didn't add up when other robot vacuums have aftermarket bags that aren't as expensive. Coredi provides three bags with purchase. I didn't try mopping the floor because the tank is very thin and looks like it has enough water and detergent to clean one room in the house like the bathroom. I was surprised that it was so low compared to other companies that offer products that can do both. The navigation seems to work well and is shown in the phone app. A couple of times our cats got in the way and he quickly found his navigation again so that's a plus. It just doesn't add up considering the additional expense I'm likely to incur when using this product. I will return and try something different. My son recommended Shark because it offers a bagless system but no mop. I think I'll do more research and weigh up the pros and cons of a single vacuum versus a dual purpose vacuum.
