The effect is more subtle than I expected. From the side of a room or open space, the finish will be more of a warm glow. This is partly because the weave of the fabric is more open than I'm used to in a tablecloth, so the hue of the table affects the finished look (i.e. you don't get a bright white if your table is dark). . I believe this is reflected in the low price for such a large fabric. That's fine for my purposes, but if you're picky, tread carefully.
