So I chose the screen mainly because of the price but also because it is said to be adjustable. People here have spoken in their reviews and also answered questions about the possibility of using a 5/32 hex key to adjust the screen's drop height. This was very important to me because they had a huge 12 inch black spot across the screen (I have no idea why they do this, it looks awful and no one needs it). The screen came 3 weeks after my purchase. I opened it after 6 days and hung the screen with no problem. After plugging it in and lowering it I found that only one side had fallen off and upon inspection I found that one of the plastic plugs at the end of the screen had pulled out and was stuck to the plastic cover attached to the reel. I quickly unplugged it and had to roll it back hoping I didn't mess up the screen scroll. and luckily he wasn't hurt. When I adjusted the end cap so it wouldn't get stuck, the screen came off with no problem. I looked for the location of the hex nut but couldn't find anything. I went back to Revain to find a reviewer who explained that the screen design had changed and there was no longer a hex nut adjustment on the screen. I bought this screen BECAUSE of the adjustability. This screen cannot be returned now as it took over 3 weeks to send it to me. Also, the escapement cable is 12 inches long. is this a joke?
