Review on TORCHSTAR E-Star Series: 3 Inch Gimbal LED 💡 Recessed Lights with Junction Box - Industrial Electrical Innovation by Ray Cole

Like other Torchstar products I have purchased they are well built and appear to produce the advertised lumens. I have yet to install them but after hooking them up to an extension cord to test placement I'm happy with the light output. They are bright so I will install a dimmer. I fear for durability because they get installed the day before and if they fail I don't want to get stuck in a 3.5" hole so I'll be buying a few extra ones to have on hand. product range and seem to be on par with big manufacturers like Lithonia and Hubbell. Time will tell and I'll update the photos after installation. Although they offer a good guarantee, I'm only giving 4 stars until I've had the opportunity to test them over time. **Update** The lights look great and are easy to install and set up. In general, the design of these lights is not bad, but it is not perfect. Clips are pressed and may break off body, one bracket broke during installation. Although adjustable, getting the hole in place requires some work and readjustment is needed. Still one overall great mount for the money and me I am very happy with the end result. I will be buying a few more for a future product and leaving a few as savings. e. Once I set the dimmer, I lower the level to soften the glow.
