Sounds different than stock pump but still works
I replaced my old pump because my stock pump on my 2005 g35 stopped charging and wasn't reading the fuel gauge accurately so I bought this and installed it . It sounds different than factory but the pump works but the gas gauge is still inaccurate even though the entire unit has been replaced. So just check the base before replacing the pump, but none of them have fixed the accuracy of the fuel gauge on my car. So far the pump has been perfect for the last 5 weeks it has been in my car.
