I have an alarm on my 1973 Corvette, but I don't use any attachments when I go to the gym or shop. I have an ultimate speaker for $400. I hooked this up to the speaker and it works like a charm. As a second alarm clock, I hung an extra one on the door. I've tethered it several times and many times it worked when the door was open, but 100% of the time it even closed slightly. I don't have much patience but pairing and programming was so easy. I want a third one for my other door. I guess the batteries wear out quickly, but I rarely drive, maybe once a week.
