Do not ask for help: Interior

Like all options available with the device. I didn't like the trust these manufacturers put in the dealers as a 25 year old Certified Technician/ASM/Service Manager. The lack of support is limited to access to dealers. I can't imagine spending 500 for a few installs and getting your product and knowing that you won't answer even simple questions. there are people However, you know this and will turn to professionals. Instructions should be clearer when accessories/fans are not offered.

Good product! super comfortable!

Very good quality inside. The double-sided remote control with very good design and appearance allows you to know the status of the van at any time. And it beeps when you forget to turn on the car. Professionally installed by CompuStar dealer on my 2012 Ford E 250 van, installer supplied bypass module for CAD 100. Very convenient to use. Remote engine start is very useful in winter in Canada. Push the button, the van warms up and defrosts in the cold while you're still nice and warm in the…

Good block but power locks require additional wiring harness

I installed this block on my 1967 fuel injected Pontiac, the instructions were a bit vague and basically recommended that a "pro" install it. Since I built my car myself and know every wire, I was able to get the job done. That's why I gave the device 3 stars; You have to buy another $10 wire harness to add power locks. Of all the crazy extra cables that come with this alarm you would think it comes with this part and although the alarm is programmable you should have access to the programmer…

Great alarm worth the hassle of installing

Initially you will need at least basic power tools and 12V knowledge to successfully install. However the alarm clock is very good and allows for future firmware upgrades and sensor expansions also compatible with blades . If you need wiring diagrams go to bulldogsecurity.com and search for vehicle wiring diagrams as the compustar firsttech website only provides this information to dealers. You can also purchase some or most of Crutchfield's charts. The installation instructions leave something

Great for a 2006 Dodge Charger RT with unresponsive key fob buttons.

I bought these and waited almost a month for delivery even though they were 'in stock'. I won't complain because in the end the installation was very easy. For someone (me) with no prior knowledge of remote starters and alarm systems, this was clear enough. It took a lot of research, but it was time well spent. In particular, I used the Blade AL transponder, which saves a lot of wiring if you use the CM-900as (Remote Starter) module. You need to go to Idatalink.com and find your specific car…
