Great alarm worth the hassle of installing

Initially you will need at least basic power tools and 12V knowledge to successfully install. However the alarm clock is very good and allows for future firmware upgrades and sensor expansions also compatible with blades . If you need wiring diagrams go to bulldogsecurity.com and search for vehicle wiring diagrams as the compustar firsttech website only provides this information to dealers. You can also purchase some or most of Crutchfield's charts. The installation instructions leave something to be desired, so search the web for a basic cm900as v1.1 installation and this PDF should explain the connections in sufficient detail. A NOTICE. Use only Ver. 1.1 Programming Options If you have upgraded, otherwise use the programming menu that comes with the alarm in the box. Took me about 6 hours to install on a diesel truck including programming. If you're doing the installation yourself, I highly recommend the op500 programming tool, which will help you successfully navigate through the various options as there are many. This alarm kit comes with the cm900as or cmbrain, main power and I/O wiring harnesses, relay and starter disable wiring harness, easily adjustable shock sensor, antenna and cable, 1 2-way LCD remote control and 1 1-position 4 -Key remote control supplied , 1 hood contact switch and a blue LED to indicate alarm status. I would recommend switching to a das-ii sensor instead of the shock sensor included in the alarm kit. But the components and build quality appear to be top notch and I haven't had any issues with them yet. I've since added a mobile drone to the alarm clock, which I think is better than any two-way remote. It costs $6 per month and you can start/stop and lock/unlock your car anywhere and anytime with your phone via the app as long as it has 4G coverage for the drone in the car. I have to say I'm very happy with my choice, you will be too.
