I'm a city bike enthusiast and I usually use the Citi bike sharing chain in New York City to commute to work in Manhattan. SmartHalo's turn-by-turn navigation works as advertised and helps me get directions to various destinations where I used to have to keep directions in my head. This is especially useful when cycling through older NYC neighborhoods that aren't tied to coordinates, like the Bowery, Chinatown, and the Financial District. Works well in combination with gooseneck and mobile phone adapter (as shown in the photo). This allows me to mount it on the handlebars of a bicycle without any additional special equipment. I would use it at my discretion as this is a system of my own making, not SmartHalo. This is a very useful technique for me as I can use SmartHalo with NYC's bike sharing system on the street and with other bike sharing systems when traveling. This is another case where SmartHalo shines: navigating unfamiliar cities. It's great to have a device that I can carry around and that can guide me. The app, which allows me to choose from different possible routes, including "Fastest" and "Safest", is particularly helpful. I am happy with this purchase and look forward to further development of SmartHalo.
