I'm having a hard time finding jogging pants for my child. 8/10 is usually too short and 10/12 is usually too big at the waist. I bought two sizes hoping one would fit. In fact they both fit, although the medium size most likely won't fit in length as it's just right at the moment and growing so fast they'll probably be too short in a month or two. Large size fits his waist just a little loose. but not so much that he couldn't wear them now as a last resort. Although they are too long for him, it doesn't matter if he wears them with snow boots and he can wear shorts underneath to keep him a bit warmer, or long underwear if needed. They were at a good price when I ordered them, so keep them. Note, and if they are well priced I recommend buying a size or two if you are unsure. They are soft and comfortable and so far my child's first choice on school gym days.
