I was really waiting for these tea towels because they already had soap in them. Not being a huge fan of reusable sponges, I usually just dampen a paper towel or microfiber towel and add some soap before using it to wash dishes. Especially if I only have to wash a few things. You are doing a good job. I wash dishes once a day. Some things are dishwasher safe, but the things I use everyday are hand washed. I had no problem washing dishes with a rag during the day. The towels aren't very thin, but they're not thick either, and they're not particularly huge. They seem to contain quite a lot of soap as they start to foam as soon as you add water. I could easily wash 5-7 plates with a rag, which I don't think is a bad thing. And after drying my dishes, there was no residue, smell or anything. All in all it's a great idea to have one of these.
