These nice and warm shoes need to be broken in so they don't feel cozy. Due to real skin, it will take time to become less tight. Overall a great shoe and will last a long time. I bought another guy with these and the ones he wears more often because they are less tight. So unless you want to wear them a size up they are comfortable out of the box, but for me I would prefer them to work in your foot over time and not grow big later. These are great shoes for the price and perfect as a Christmas gift for dad.
