Review on πŸ”— JT149RS SE Ring Stretcher for Size 6 and Larger Rings by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very cool gadget and works great!

It worked! I had to stretch my son's ring. It was one of those $30 souvenir rings that the jeweler shouldn't have worn, also it had small pseudo gems but he loved it and it got too small. I don't know what it was made of, but it wasn't 92.5 sterling silver because I had to hit it hard to stretch it. (Inexperienced I started VERY carefully, took it off and tested it about 6 times without resizing before realizing how much muscle it takes to stretch it.) I also tested a sterling silver ring that was a little undersized. for comparison, and it took VERY little effort to stretch it - so definitely lighter so you don't go further, as you like! Note: My son's ring was too small to slide onto the mandrel. Or whatever you call the part where you attach the ring. Don't despair; Just take string (or something similar) and tie it around the mandrel and make a tourniquet: tie a pencil and twist the pencil to tighten the string. It pulls the wedges of the mandrel together and your ring slips off. After that you can go into town.
