If you are purchasing Amcrest 3 or 8 Megapixel HD analog cameras, YOU NEED THIS for the camera to transmit a clear signal. I used an old cable from my Zosi system and the picture was distorted. As soon as I replaced that cable with this one, everything became quite clear. After paying for new cable and cameras I might as well have bought a new IP system as the price wasn't much different in the end.
