First, the color is brighter than the photo shows. given the bargain, I will give that a pass. I washed it upon arrival, and all of the lovely gilt accent is now gone. so don't get too attached to that. Over all it washed up well, and appears it should wear well. just be aware that this is a quite brightly colored set. Colors may soften with repeat washes. I have 2 dogs, so I was looking for an option to not having to wash my comforter weekly. And that probably will mean that the brightness will gradually fade with time.Adding to my original review that the seller contacted me about my review, given the additional communication and very good customer service provided by the seller, I am increasing my rating.
