Fantastic OEM microphone. Had them as standard issue at my last job. Joined a new security company and no mics! It doesn't suit me so I decided to spend some of my own money and buy a decent mic. Best money I've ever spent on a work assignment. What can I say, the connection is solid, the knob/clip is high quality and I can finally record reports again without messing around with the whole radio. Extra tip: your voice is good for your security or police experts when you are looking directly at the person/witness etc. You don't have to tilt your head, unplug and hold the microphone, or look away from the person you're talking to. I used to be responsible for training about 70 security guards in a large mall and that was part of my training program. I have seen countless security/police personnel speaking to someone and then turning their head on a key even turning their entire torso away from someone just to speak to their dispatcher/sergeant etc and looking away at someone, and even throw yourself off balance. Just something I don't want to spread knowledge about. Make no mistake with this microphone, you won't regret it.
