The Danish Endurance running socks are made of a thin and moderately stretchable material. They take some effort to fit my size 10.5 men's feet, but once they're on they're comfortable, breathable, and soft to the touch. The sock portion under the ball of the foot has rubberized strips for better traction when running, but if you're walking around the house barefoot on hard floors, they can stick to the ground a bit. The socks come up just above my ankles and sit perfectly in place. I washed them in cold water in a front loading washing machine and tumble dried on low heat. They came out great. In general. great socks.
