is big because I didn't want the belt digging into me as I'm postpartum and things are still a bit shaky. It was the right choice. The waistband is nice and thick, as are the cuffs. The fabric is very soft and not too thick. The most important thing for me is that they are comfortable and I don't feel sloppy. Again I'm postpartum so the last thing I want is to feel sloppy. The only downside is that they are quite long. fold them twice. Better than being short! muffins on top.
