Review on IHome IDL95 Lightning Charge IPhone by Jon Thawngzauk

UPDATE 11/16: I am generally happy with the product (read my previous comments which I have attached). But iHome hasn't updated its firmware or smart app (at least iOS) for over three years. With the latest iOS updates, the basic functions of the clock radio no longer work with the smart app activated. You can no longer adjust alarm settings via iDevice (one of the main advantages). I recommend anyone thinking of buying ANY smart app enabled product to first look for comments in the relevant app store. Look for user comments (many unsatisfied users in iOS app store for this app) and also check software version dates. I've also seen comments about another iHome app that requires payment to disable ads, and comments from some people claiming that audio ads play at 3am. As iHome provides software updates, I will review my rating and amend it if necessary. Happy with this product but my new iPhone 6 does not fit in the UAG case which I also bought from Revain. I need to use the USB port to connect my iDevices. The sound is ok, but not as "reliable" as I was hoping for given the price. I like the app and the ability to program it from my phone. I think the buttons could be better placed, especially when you're half asleep trying to find the right buttons to press. Once I accidentally turned off my alarm clock and overslept the next morning. Happens only once and YMMV.
