This small towel turban is really amazing with its features. I have hair down to my thighs and I didn't think I could fit everything in this thing, but it does. I have to fold it up and tuck it in, but the Turbie Twist manages to hold everything effortlessly once it's in. I'm amazed at how this has affected my post-shower activities. I used to have to balance a rolled up bath towel very carefully on my head and often actually hold it with one hand while doing things after getting out of the shower. Now I can do whatever I want and this little Turbie Twist stays in place by itself. It's enough to convince me I'll never be without him again. It has another interesting feature. Compared to a normal bath towel, it dries the hair more evenly and prevents dry and wet patches from being pulled off. When it came to the bath towel, I always had to hurry to take the towel off. Otherwise, parts of my hair would dry out oddly (determined by how I wrapped my hair in the towel) and would need to be re-wetted to make it behave. With the Turbie Twist this is no problem at all. I can take my time and wear this piece for quite a while without worrying about it happening. It retains a minimal amount of moisture, enough to prevent frizzy hair. My reason for giving it a star is because I was given a light purple color and like the other reviewer here I would hate for anyone to see me doing this because it just looks dirty, not purple. It is a very faded greyish purple color giving the impression that you have not taken very good care of it and that it may be dirty. That's not the impression you want to make when you just got out of the shower. Otherwise I love it and will always have at least one on hand. If you've never tried it before, this thing can set you free.
