I liked this rug at first. I have it in the entrance of my apartment. I took off my boots when it snowed and left them on the mat and found tonight that they didn't absorb/dry out the water/snow. Instead he held it and licked out. I found a large puddle next to the carpet and when I picked it up to explore it was wet and the carpet itself made a squeezing noise like there was water in it. I picked it up off the ground and a lot of water came out. I'm very disappointed because I bought it with the intention of using it as a front door carpet and obviously I can't do that as I live in a snowy/rainy area. I would return it but I'm out of date range.
