Installed 2 of these kits on my 2018 Ducati Scrambler Dessert Sled to replace bulky factory turn signals. Installation was a lot easier than I thought. I don't usually know much about auto electrics. The included cables are very long, you could probably get anywhere on your bike. 3M tape is strong, but do yourself a favor and first clean the area you want to attach with some rubbing alcohol. I was afraid to cut the factory wires, but after an hour all four flashed brightly and at normal speed the first time without adding a new flasher module or resistor. Check with your dealer but for 2018 Ducati CAN recognized the LED and adjusted automatically, no modifications were required from my end, installation was really plug and play. I decided to solder, insulate, and then shrink the connections, but as long as you don't mix up the wire colors and it's weatherproof enough, any connection should work. I like the look, they are quite bright and almost disappear when unlit. A very positive experience.
