ARP is high quality bolts, nuts and other high strength oriental top quality bolts. Her history in the US is unparalleled. The 12 point head fits perfectly. I will never use cheap parts for things like crankcase bolts. I chased the threads to make installation easier. I used a balance beam torque wrench to tighten this bolt on a 2000 Silverado 2500 4WD. The truck drives well. I replaced the oil pump, hoses, water pump, front crankshaft oil seal, oil pressure strainer, oil pan gasket, oil pump lines and added a new coolant thermostat. This was all just part of the regular maintenance as an oil pan gasket needed to be replaced. I had nothing to do so I replaced a few other parts. The truck will probably clock 300,000 miles soon and then it will be time for a new car. I'll be sad to see my Bessie go when she hits 300,000.
