Review on Enhanced Audio Control: Volume Remote Adjustment DAC HDMI ARC to 🔊 Stereo R/L RCA Adapter for Amplifier, Headphones, and Speakers, Multi-Port Simultaneous Output by Doug Layman

Although my Samsung TV uses this DAC as an ARC receiver and you can control the volume with the TV remote, the sound quality is really terrible. (So bad!) I routed my audio inputs through a Mackie mixer to a pair of Yorkville YSM6 studio monitors, and with that DAC they sounded worse than the TV's built-in speakers - compressed to nothing and utterly devoid of detail. I was really hoping it would sound good, but this DAC makes any audio source sound like bootleg knock-on-call music. Using the Echo Dot's audio output sounds a lot better - even when it's connected to a TV via Bluetooth. I'm sending this back.
