Bought this kit to file my large dogs (90+ lbs) nails after trimming their nails to keep them from scratching me! My 1 year old German Shepherd needs his claws trimmed about once a week. A large file is great for this. I have to rinse the file between the paws to remove the remnants of the nails, but I'm very happy with it. I was also able to smooth out some of the crevices and cracks caused by running on the black top. The little ones work great on my nails. I think these will last a long time. Would I buy again if I lose or break them. I might even try using a small file on my cat.
