I get migraines from smelly things so I use unscented cat litter. I just wanted to add something because my cat uses the litter box a lot and after about a week it starts to smell. I wanted to stay away from other Glade and Febreeze flavored brands so I was so excited when I saw this! I LOVE the smell of cedar wood! It arrived and I disassembled it. POOH. The smell was strong and not at all like cedar. It's like mixing the cheap baby powder everyone wore in high school with a bunch of different air fresheners, then adding a handful of dirty gerbil cell debris for a "cedar" scent. BLARRRRRRR! The litter box was almost ready for me to empty, clean and add new litter. I blended about a cup because I was desperate. I had to stick with the original fecal/faecal smell. All that happened was all I could smell was this horrible "cedar" smell and then the same smell all day combined with a strong urine/poo sting. After 2 weeks I couldn't take it anymore and had to empty and clean the tray. A neighbor gave me some of her Fresh Step flavored with Tidy Cat or Febreeze, and I poured out about 1/2 cup. I can hardly smell it. Hooray! So, yeah, I don't know if lump works or not, but this thing literally stinks.
