I bought this unit 6 months ago after thinking that my Dremel 12 volt cordless tool is getting on in years and new batteries are also needed. On the plus side, the new device has plenty of power and the battery charges quickly, although for the price you'd think a second battery would be included. In minus.1. Very noisy, I wear hearing protection when using it, especially at high speeds.2. The charging indicator only works if it is switched on for a few seconds. No big deal.3. The switch is very inconvenient. I have to look for it to use it.4. The biggest issue is the chuck lock button for changing tools. It is embedded in the tool and had a very strong spring. I had to push with all my might to hook it, it really hurt. I ended up taking it apart and cutting off about 1/3 of the spring. Now I can change tools without getting blisters on my thumb, but the recessed part is still not ok. I've had other Milwaukee instruments before and liked them. It's definitely a love-hate relationship.
