Perfect size for full fridge shelf depth. Others are too short, leaving empty space behind the basket or hard-to-reach storage space that requires removing the basket to get to what's behind. Also, it has a large width, so food, packaging and storage containers fit perfectly! I have one on each side of each of the two shelves with a large gap in the middle as these baskets are too wide to fit three side by side in my particular fridge. It would be easy to cut plastic or wood dividers if I just wanted to use zip ties to secure the dividers. The little feet don't cause any problems on the glass shelf, they just slide. Due to the design, the rear legs of my wire shelf snag annoyingly on the support rod, so I cut them off with my Dremel, which would require a little more force with wire cutters or bending back and forth with pliers.
