That's not true 18 AWG cable

This copper wire on this cable is very thin. It looks more like 22 AWG wire. The insulation is thick, like 18 AWG, but no wire. If you want to transmit large current with it. You might want to look for something better. If you use it as a CVVT or headphone jack. It is in order
