[Updated] Great lighting but not very durable.

Purchased these lights earlier this year to set up an awning/canopy that I put up in my backyard. Visually they were perfect - just the look we wanted, nice warm glow. Then, about two weeks ago, the wind picked up from Santa Ana and would gust up to 30 mph in our area, and after a particularly windy night, I noticed that three traffic lights were completely off the main line and two others were partially off , and they had to be removed. cut off. Luckily the lamps are connected in parallel so the rest of the lamps work fine. One would expect lights designed specifically for outdoor use to be a little more durable - sometimes 30mph gusts of wind shouldn't be enough to separate these lights from the main line, indicating poor build quality. But since we were so happy with the actual lighting, I'll probably buy some more strings and just reinforce the T-parts with epoxy or silicone. PITA, but you get what you pay for. [Update] In about 6 weeks since writing this review we have lost two more lights blown straight off the freeway. To those who say these lights are long lasting I would say relative to what? I've included a picture of one of the recently extinguished lights so others can see where the weak point is. That's already 7 lights that I've lost to the wind, each exactly the same, in the same place. If you are looking for a truly long lasting garden light then keep looking, this product has its downsides.
