Review on Tool International Adhesive Reinforces Plastics by Marcus Akram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much easier than expected.

An old hand held table saw with a belt driven motor hanging about 10 to 12 inches from the back of the table saw table. This makes the suspension mechanism vulnerable to wall impact and bracket braking. And so it happened. I removed the aluminum motor mount plate, assembled it and wrapped 1/4 of the aluminum plate around it, cut out the plate, placed it on top of the broken mount and drilled about 1/4" holes in both broken pieces, about a quarter. Twenty screws poke through and hold the aluminum coating and broken piece together, then apply a thin coat of Q-Bond to the aluminum coating, then carefully place the broken pieces onto the board, insert the 1/4-20 screws, tighten and BINGO, it worked like a charm. I also used it for a hobby project, I had two 5" studs that looked like nails. I cut one off to get the ratio of the cross, used a dremel tool and cut notches in both Parts so they were covered flush with piece of Q-Bond, laid them together and let them cure, once cured, pour the black powder into the areas where it didn't fit, long Add small drops of liquid, enough liquid to wet all of the powder, and let set. After drying, I took a file and smoothed out the roughness. The cross looked like it was a solid piece of metal. Q-Bond, a great solution for repairing, fixing and crafting. I will definitely use it again.
